In our front waiting room you will be greeted by our mascot, Murray, the talking moose. You will find a comfortable rustic waiting area for families and a display of our patient's photos as they experience the out of doors. Here you will be attended to by one of our friendly "Smile Rangers" who will help you coordinate all aspects of your children's' dental visit.

Dental care is provided in a spacious open-bay treatment area adjacent to a children's' waiting area with video games, books, movies and toys. A separate area for teens gives them their own space to relax or do homework if they so choose. We have made it a comfortable place that provides our patients the ability to have some freedom with constant supervision. While treatment is provided, patients may watch movies or television from monitors placed overhead.

Our primary objective is your child’s dental health. As such, we focus on patient education so parents can understand the importance of baby teeth and take active measures to keep them healthy until they come out. Over time, we can also educate the children on the importance of proper dental care habits, and help them establish good practices that will ensure they speak, eat, and smile with confidence for the rest of their lives.

During the first dental visit, we take the time to examine the child’s mouth, discuss the need for any treatments with the parents, and address any questions that parents may have about caring for the baby teeth. As the end of the first appointment, our goal is that the parents are better informed about their child’s oral health, and the various ways they can help to nurture, preserve, and enhance it.
